Acoustic Astronaut

Dave Alyassin has been writing songs for about 30 years now.  His biggest hit single was Mystical Ages from the 1st album under the Racecar moniker.

The 2nd album under the same bandname was awarded Best Rock CD in New Mexico by the New Mexico Music Awards.

Now under a new moniker, “Acoustic Astronaut”, Dave is working on an ep with songs including, No Peace in my Radio & I Can Finally Hear.

New song by Acoustic Astronaut, produced in LA, “Celebrate the Love”, is the culmination of years of work. Dave Alyassin, the founder and creator of Acoustic Astronaut, formerly under the moniker Racecar, which sprouted a couple of bona-fide underground hits like “Mystical Ages” and “Into the Distance” also won awards in New Mexico for their album “Dance Like A Ghost”. Celebrate is upbeat, positive, spontaneous and fun. Def worth a listen. The lead guitar work and smatterings of Tears for Fears song structure make it a worthwhile ride.
